Rincon de la Vieja Volcano

Rincon de la Vieja Volcano is an active volcano located in the Guanacaste Province of northwestern Costa Rica. It is one of the country's largest and most active volcanoes, with a height of 1,916 meters (6,286 feet) above sea level.

The volcano is part of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, which was established in 1973 and covers an area of over 34,000 acres. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including jaguars, pumas, monkeys, and a variety of bird species.

Rincon de la Vieja is a complex volcano, composed of multiple vents and craters, with the most active being the Von Seebach crater.
