The tour knowledgeable guide will pick you up from your hotel and then you will take a brief journey to reach the enchanting Territory of Sloths, a privileged land located approximately 5 minutes away from the town of La Fortuna. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe one of our country's most beloved animals, the charming sloth, known for its endearing nature and leisurely behavior.

During our excursion, you will traverse around 1,500 meters of scenic footpaths while your guide imparts a wealth of information and emphasizes the importance of protecting these species. The experienced guides possess remarkable expertise in locating sloths, ensuring a guaranteed sighting. It's worth noting that sloths are solitary creatures, spending a significant portion of their time sleeping and resting on treetops.

Concluding this segment of the tour, you will indulge in a delightful snack of seasonal fruits before continuing the journey to a town called Agua Azul de La Fortuna. In approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at an agroecological farm owned by a local farming family, who graciously welcome you with open arms. Your visit to the farm will commence with a refreshing natural juice made from fresh fruits sourced from the area. As we savor this welcome drink, your guide will provide insights into the main objectives of this family project, which include promoting the sustainable use of natural resources and preserving Costa Rican customs.

Following this warm introduction, you will partake in the hands-on experience of manually milking cows. This unforgettable and enjoyable activity is open to all, including the younger participants who can also feed small calves, and chickens, and observe rabbits, geese, quail, and other animal species residing on the farm. Next, you will engage in the process of extracting sugar cane juice, relishing its pure and invigorating taste.
