We will pick you up from your hotel to embark on an exciting journey to Sloth Territory, nestled within a small family ecological project just a short 5-minute drive from La Fortuna. This project boasts a 1.5km (1 mi) trail that caters to individuals of all ages, including adults, families, and children.

Over the course of approximately 2 hours, we will immerse ourselves in stunning flora, follow a scenic path along the property's river, and, of course, encounter the majestic Guarumo trees, which serve as the sloth's preferred food source.

Throughout the tour,you will emphasize the crucial significance of sloth protection. Given their growing popularity, the illegal trade of this species has witnessed a substantial surge. It is important to keep in mind that sloths are solitary creatures and spend the majority of their time sleeping or resting in the treetops. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to observe two types of sloths: the Two-toed sloth and the Three-toed sloth. If you are fortunate, we may even witness the heartwarming sight of a mother sloth with her baby.
